Romeo + Juliet

Alongside beloved films like Romeo + Juliet, Shakespeare in Love, and 10 Things I Hate About You, our season of Shakespeare adaptations will feature the return of our much-missed screenings of National Theatre Live. On 22 and 28 March we will be showing the brand-new production The Motive and the Cue, a fierce and funny play from Sam Mendes about Richard Burton’s rehearsals for an experimental new production of Hamlet.

The Yorkshire Games Festival will return to venues across Bradford from 7–10 March, with a takeover The Studio on Saturday 9 March. Bradford Queer Film Festival 2nd anniversary

You may have attended a few of our February screenings in collaboration with Bradford Queer Film Festival, and we are so excited to partner up again in March for the festival’s two-year anniversary.

Bend It Like Beckham

To celebrate this milestone, we will be screening the 2002 British classic Bend It Like Beckham, which follows a young girl who dreams of playing football despite the objections of her family.

The film will be introduced by Alice Parsons, director of Bradford Queer Film Festival, and is a must-see for fans of feel-good British cinema.

Easter Kids’ Club

Over the Easter holidays we are expanding our usual Saturday morning Kids’ Club to four whole screenings across Friday 29 and Saturday 30 March.
